In order to get a quote for the shipment of your vehicle, you can either use our quoting tool available on our website, or you can call (607) 373-5091 to receive a quote from one of our team members. We use the information that you provide us to get your quote!
We utilize a few different factors when determining the cost of your shipment. One of the biggest factors we use is the distance between your starting and ending point. Other factors include which type of vehicle is being shipped, as well as the final date you're looking for it to be shipped. There are other specific requests as well that can add to the cost, so long as they are requested.
We accept all major credit cards, postal money orders, bank certified checks, and electronic transfers for any deposits or pre-payments of the shipment. If the money is due on delivery, it can be paid either directly to the driver or can be paid in either cash, bank certified checks, or postal money orders.
The further in advance we have knowledge of your shipment, the better chance we will be able to work with your availability. We recommend at least 2-3 weeks notice at a minimum, but the further out the better. Expedited shipping options needing tight timelines will need even more notice to make sure the days aren't already booked up. You can call and talk to one of our team members for advanced availability options, as well as to get the terms of the schedule for your transport.
We will need to know the address for both pick up and drop off locations, as well as your name and phone number. We will also need the date that your vehicle will be ready to move, and all vehicle information (year, make and model).
Not to worry! Your city and zip code will suffice until your exact pickup and delivery location are known.
You can call your driver at any time during your shipment. Call (607) 373-5091.
You are able to ship personnel belongs inside of your vehicle, but the weight of the items inside must not surpass 100lbs, and MUST be left in the backseat or trunk. All personal belongings inside the vehicle will not be covered by insurance however.
A quarter tank of gas is enough, as it allows for the car to be loaded and unloaded, and won't affect the weight too much.
It is important to make sure that your vehicle is clean before you ship it. This is important as it allows for a more clear inspection prior to shipping, which will be for finding pre-existing damage. As mentioned above, you are allowed up to 100lbs of items in your car. This means you need to insure that there are no large items in your car that could push you past that weight requirement. Lastly, make sure you inform your driver of any other pre-exiting issues that you are aware of, so we can make sure your vehicle is shipped without issue!
Nope! We just need the keys to get access.
The driver will do their best to get the vehicle as close to your location as possible. In most case, the driver will have no issue getting your vehicle to where you want it. The only issues that can arise come from tight size restrictions, or locations that prohibit trucks from driving. Auto transport trucks are rather large and need a fair about of room to maneuver. Things like low hanging trees, narrow roads or crowded areas will prohibit the driver from being able to get where they want.
Yes, there needs to be someone available to sign for and accept the vehicle. This is important as we need to return the keys, and complete the final inspection of your vehicle. This person can be anyone that you trust so long as they are over the age of 18.
The bill of lading is a document used by car shipping companies to document and identify any pre-existing damage to your vehicle during pickup. It will serve as a record for contact information, as well as the official agreement for the transport. If you would like to file any insurance claims after the transport, you will need the bill of lading.
